A grassroots movement bringing people, professionals, workplaces, and policymakers together to change that.
For too long, hearing health has been treated as a niche issue.
But the truth is this:
This isn’t a small problem. This is a community problem.
And the only way to solve a community problem is together.
Hear In Nova Scotia exists to bring voices together — individuals, families, clinicians, employers, educators, and advocates — to build a province where hearing care is understood, accessible, and equitable.
Most Nova Scotians know someone struggling with hearing loss. Few understand its impact on brain health, work, aging, and daily life.
We’re here to change that through clear, respectful, evidence-based education.
No one should be priced out or confused out of hearing care.
We advocate for clearer pathways, reduced barriers, and policies that put Nova Scotians first.
Hearing care shouldn’t feel mysterious, salesy, or overwhelming.
We’re committed to helping Nova Scotians make informed decisions for themselves.
This isn’t a corporate campaign. Your voice matters — stories, struggles, and successes all shape the future of hearing care in our province.
It’s a community voice.
