Jim is local in the truest sense of the word. Born and raised in Nova Scotia, he has lived in our community for more than 45 years, raising his family and building deep, lasting connections.

With over 20 years of in-clinic hearing care experience, Jim brings a steady, practical understanding of what people actually need — shaped by working alongside some of the industry’s most recognized global brands. More importantly, he brings a way of caring that’s grounded, respectful, and personal.

Jim believes hearing care should be clear, accessible, and built on real relationships. His commitment to doing right by every client — and to the community he calls home — is central to what The Hearing Room stands for.

Chris has spent more than 30 years inside the global hearing industry, including senior leadership roles with many of the world’s major hearing aid manufacturers. That experience gave him a clear view of what works — and what doesn’t.

He believes hearing care should feel human first. Technology matters, but trust matters more. The Hearing Room exists to create space for honest conversations, thoughtful care, and solutions that support real life — not just devices.

Nova Scotia’s strong sense of community made it the right place to put those values into practice. Chris is guided by a simple belief: better outcomes don’t come from asking people to adapt to a system, but from designing systems that adapt to people.
